The virtues of donations are great because it helps the needy and at the same time it gives an opportunity to the donor to give the surplus to the people in need. It helps the needy to sustain himself. -- Sam Veda

The Organization welcomes all National and International Volunteers and Students to join in our different Welfare activities for the under privilege children and women in Indian urban centers primarily Kolkata and its outskirts.

We have different options for the volunteers accordingly they can join us.

Sponsors may help students without needing to volunteer with Crawl. From our SHIKSHAN Project we find suitable children who would benefit from a formal education. We then look to match them with sponsors who could sponsor that child’s education for a year at a time. The cost to the sponsor varies with the age of the child, the child’s ability, and the school that the child will attend. The cost usually ranges from 1000 Indian Rupees per month to 1500 Indian Rupees per month (about $23.00 to $34.00 U.S. Dollars per month). Crawl relies on its volunteers in India to establish contact between the student and the sponsor through the computer project described below.
